Mission Statement

The Office of the Registrar has the responsibility to maintain timely and accurate records of the academic process and accomplishments of its students, while maintaining the privacy, integrity, and security of those records. The office strives to provide excellent customer service to students, faculty members, administrators, alumni, and the general public in the areas of record keeping, course scheduling, course registration, information management, data analysis, and institutional planning. The Office of the Registrar uses its central university position to add value to the information which it manages by participating fully in activities to recruit, retain, and graduate the most academically talented and diverse students possible.

Goals

Improve the delivery of traditional student service functions and develop new services in an entrepreneurial spirit to address the needs of our diverse and changing student population.

Achieve closer linkages and form partnerships with the faculty to assist them in teaching and serving the needs of the student population.

Use Records and Registrations central university perspective, and highly trained staff to support university objectives including retention and recruitment objectives.
