Please Note: If there are five or more students registered, College approval is required for cancellation of undergraduate courses and Department Chair's approval is required for cancellation of graduate courses.
 
To cancel a course or section please send an email to schedule@umd.edu with the following information enclosed:
  • Your Name
  • Your Dean's Email Address (If Approval is Required)
  • Term (Please Include SubTerm if Applicable)
  • Prefix and Course Number
  • Section Number
  • A brief explanation of reason for cancelling
Multiple cancellations may be made in one e-mail but please separate them accordingly.
